# Nesting Flows

> Build flexible nested automations with existing flows as blocks

Nesting empowers you to seamlessly use an existing flow as a block within a flow. The two components of building these nested flows are <Link href="/blocks/core/input">input blocks</Link> and <Link href="/blocks/core/output">output blocks</Link>.
